The occasion is a celebration of Carlyle’s collaboration with the eleven accomplished families who own  the 52 Super Series Grand Prix yacht race teams, which include Mr. Hasso  Plattner, Mr. Harm Müller-Spreer, Mr. Doug DeVos and  more.  Widely regarded as the F1 of elite yacht racing, 52 Super Series  Grand Prix races are hosted by some of the world’s most prestigious  yacht clubs including St. Tropez and the iconic New York Yacht Club of  Newport, USA.

Carlyle will reveal how select guests  will have the privilege of meeting the owners, their teams &  watching 52 Super Series Grand Prix races from the comfort of private  yachts.  Owners will also share life-lessons and insights  learned from the world of elite competitive sailing.

The signature philanthropy program of the 52 Super Series is ‘Nurse Heroes’.  Founded by a group of motivated Carlyle  philanthropists, with support from an accomplished group of media  influencers including Oprah Winfrey, Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Lopez, and the 19-time Grammy Award Winning producer Emilio Estefan,  Carlyle and the 52 Super Series is helping to create a future without a  shortage of nurses by funding scholarships to train the next generation  of nurses.
