About The Comeback Lounge
A gala ‘Celebration of Yue-Sai Kan of China Institute and Outstanding Chinese Women’, hosted by the Women Who Dared Foundation to benefit China Institute at the Comeback Lounge, 660 Madison Avenue, NYC. The Women Who Dared Foundation was established by the philanthropists and art collectors Sandi and Bill Nicholson with support from Carlyle Global Partners. The Foundation is dedicated to honoring women led philanthropy, advancing diversity and celebrating the talents of women in every field of human endeavor. This will be a memorable evening of cocktails, dinner, and music during which we will celebrate accomplished and influential Chinese women from business, media, the arts and science.
A Culturally Important Occasion: A Gala Celebration of Outstanding Chinese Women in Business, Media, the Arts and Science to benefit China Institute, which advances a deeper understanding of China through programs in education, culture, art and business. China Institute is Americans’ go-to resource on China – from ancient art to today's business landscape and its rapidly shifting culture.
An Iconic Destination: The celebrations are hosted by the Women Who Dared Foundation at their visually stunning pop-up the ‘Comeback Lounge’, at the iconic Barney’s building, 660 Madison Avenue, New York on Wednesday November 3rd. Cocktails, dinner and music from 6pm.
A Memorable Experience: As part of our celebration of Chinese women leaders, we will have the privilege of enjoying the world première of the ‘Women Who Dared’ art collection, which the philanthropists Sandi and Bill Nicholson have assembled with care and passion over the last thirty years. The result is the largest privately owned collection of art exclusively by women artists, and includes important works by Chinese artists.
