About the Carlyle Forum
Co-hosted by Carlyle and families of Palazzo Gondi, Corsini at Villa Le Corti and the Cecchi's at Villa Dimora Ghirlandaio.
This will be a memorable blend of art, music, and conversation with accomplished philanthropists, sovereign wealth fund representatives, Pulitzer Prize winning authors, and Academy Award winning film producers. On each evening we will be hosted at iconic venues for cocktails, a gala dinner, art exhibits and music performances.
The Carlyle Florence Forum: On Tuesday June 6 and Wednesday June 7 we will be hosted by for the Forum hosted at the Corsini family owned Villa Le Corti, built in 1600 the Villa is a beautiful example of elegant and refined Tuscan Renaissance architecture, and stands in the heart of the Chianti Classico area.
On Wednesday June 7th following the Forum at Villa Le Corti, we will experience the talent of David Rosenthal, Musical Director & Keyboardist for Billy Joel.
On Wednesday June 7, guests will have the privilege of a cocktail reception at the Cecchi family estate at Villa Dimora Ghirlandaio. Built in 1433, the estate is nestled in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just minutes from Florence.
On the morning of Thursday, June 8 we will have the privilege of a private tour of the world-renowned Palazzo Vecchio Museum, built in 1299, & featuring works of art by Michaelangelo & Leonardo da Vinci.
On the evening of Thursday, June 8 we will be hosted for a black-tie gala hosted by the Gondi family at Palazzo Gondi. Built in 1490 for Giuliano di Lionardo Gondi, Leonardo da Vinci lived at Palazzo Gondi & painted the Mona Lisa there. We will also enjoy a performance by award winning violinist Lauren Sarah Carpenter, together with one of the most exciting pianists of her generation, Mary Anne Huntsman.
